week 5-6

These weeks see alot of progress to the machine almost down to the ground, ready for rebuild exciting.

WEEK 4

Week 4 see alot of progress,lots of parts are cleaning up nice and fine.Lots of scrubbing.

WEEK 3

Week 3 and i start to take alot of parts of the press clean,take photo and pack into plastic bags and label as to what part each piece is (good idea for rebuild).

week 2

Week 2 i start to dismantle the press for restoration.

Week one now looking for what year model the press is attached is a photo of the serial number and badges

The press arrives home

The purchase of my hobby press

I found the style of press i wanted for my hobby on Grey's online 10/5/11.I managed to only pay $360.00 for a Heidelberg platen press around a 1940's model.Now the journey begins.
